What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves inhaling 100% oxygen in a pressurized chamber, boosting the body's natural healing. Unlike normal oxygen transport by red blood cells, HBOT dissolves oxygen into all body fluids, reaching areas with limited circulation. This non-invasive treatment supports healing by increasing oxygen delivery to damaged tissues, improving white blood cell function, reducing swelling, reducing inflammation and promoting the growth of new blood vessels.

Altitude Sickness

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) can potentially alleviate symptoms of altitude sickness by increasing the amount of oxygen in the body. It helps counteract hypoxia, a condition that occurs at high altitudes where there's reduced oxygen pressure. HBOT promotes oxygen absorption in tissues and may aid in reducing symptoms like headache, nausea, and fatigue associated with altitude sickness.

Covid-19 and
Long Covid Symptoms

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) has emerged as a promising adjunctive treatment for individuals dealing with COVID-19 and its lingering effects. While not a cure, HBOT presents a range of potential benefits in managing symptoms and promoting recovery.

Sports Performance / Injury Recovery

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is believed to enhance sports performance and injury recovery by increasing oxygen delivery to tissues, reducing inflammation, and promoting tissue repair. It may enhance recovery from orthopedic injuries, reduce muscle soreness, and potentially improve overall athletic performance. Increasing numbers of elite athletes are using HBOT to boost their endurance and accelerate their recovery.

Concussions / Head Injuries

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) plays a crucial role in the treatment of concussion and traumatic brain injuries by offering several benefits. It facilitates accelerated recovery and potential regeneration of neurologic tissue, alleviates pain, promotes healing, induces the formation of new blood vessels, stimulates the mobilization of stem cells, and has the potential to reduce cognitive impairment.

Anti-Aging / Longevity

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy enhances the proliferation of healthy cells, overpowering unhealthy ones. Scientifically validated, it extends telomeres by up to 39%, reducing cell death. This treatment fosters the growth of stem cells and neurons in the brain, improving overall neural health. Furthermore, HBOT promotes neovascularization, facilitating the formation of new blood vessels. The therapy boosts oxygen delivery to tissues, leading to skin tightening and heightened collagen production.  By supplying fresh oxygen, it primes the body for a prolonged and healthy lifespan.

Chronic Fatigue

HBOT has been shown to be a promising treatment for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Those who suffer from CFS often experience muscle exhaustion, inability to sleep, joint pain, headaches, and difficulty concentrating. HBOT has been shown decrease the severity of these symptoms and increase the quality of life of those suffering from CFS.
